I was born with cerebral palsy in my feet and ankles. I’m not considered handicap so I never had the sticker, but I wish people would just leave her and others like us alone. The biggest issue I dealt with people thought I had a mental condition rather than a physical one and I’m in my 40s now and I look younger, but after seeing this video, it blows my mind. I was bullied as a kid and I’ve actually been harassed by adults to not with parking but other situations keep on doing what you’re doing.

I'm 62 and I have Stage 3 of C.O.P.D and I've always had a Handicapped license plate and NO ONE HAS EVER GIVEN ME A HARD TIME ABOUT IT. BUT as we already know anyone can get the Blue or Red Placard that gives them the right to park in a Handicapped parking space

I can understand you being upset at people for doing this. I see a lot of people abusing the handicap parking spaces when they are not handicap or transporting a handicap person.

Was it inhumane? Sure... but what other options are there?

My Dad had no left hand & I got hell all the way thru school because " your Dads handicapped ". Starting a new year at a new school at 6yrs old we were told to draw out families. I drew Mum,Dad & older brother, Dad with no left hand. Teacher made an example of me, I actually ran from the class crying & went home. Told Mum what happened, Dad was a Public Service Boss. He took me to school the next morning & sorted the teacher out infront of the class fully. Teacher was a total bxxch & cruel from then on. 1961, Rotorua NZ.

It is on one's business why you lark in a handicap place. There are a great many people who are disabled and they get questioned all the time as to why they park in the disabled places. Many people think that a disabhas to be visible in order for a person to be handicapped but that is not always the case, I had my back broken and yes I may be able to walk, but it can be hard at times and even I get questioned about it often.
